"THE PROOF OF CHANGING DESTINY BY GIVING"

                    From Master JingKong

THE PROOF OF CHANGING DESTINY BY GIVING

Giving wealth gains wealth.

Giving dharma gains intelligence and wisdom

Giving fearlessness gains health and longevity

As long as you do these 3 things, you will definitely get these 3 kinds of rewards

THE PROOF OF CHANGING DESTINY BY GIVING

Giving wealth gains wealth.

Giving dharma gains intelligence and wisdom

Giving fearlessness gains health and longevity

As long as you do these 3 things, you will definitely get these 3 kinds of rewards

There is an old saying in China

Life is dominated by the destiny, you cannot change it a bit

This phrase is true, it is not false

You make a fortune and think that you are really smart

No, it is because you have that in your destiny

If you don’t have that in your destiny, whatever method you may think of,

You won’t make a fortune

How high the rank of official you will get is destined

If you do your bit in your life, you would be very fortune and happy

If you think using some methods to harm others for the sake of your fame and wealth,

It is wrong.

Fame and wealth cannot be acquired in this way, those are in your destiny.

Can you acquire those if they don’t exist in your destiny? Yes.

The Buddha would tell you if you learn Buddhism.

The Buddha tell you how to gain wealth if it is not in your destiny.

How to get it?

Giving wealth gains wealth.

Giving dharma gains intelligence and wisdom

Giving fearlessness gains health and longevity

As long as you do these 3 things, you will definitely get these 3 kinds of rewards

When I was young at 26, I began to learn Buddhism

Master Janggya (1891 – 1957) taught me

(Master Janggya Hotogtu – It is said that he was reincarnated from one of the disciples of Sakyamuni Buddha)

When I followed him at 26, he was 65

Older than me 39 years, he is the generation of my grandfather

He looked at me, a young man, unfortunate and short-lived

What isn’t so bad? That’s I listen.

I pay respect to teachers, I have this advantage

Teacher would like to teach me

He taught me to change my miserable destiny

Others have more or less treasury in their destiny

I had nothing in my treasury of destiny

It’s empty

So I hardly made a living in material life

Besides, I was short-lived due to too much evil sins I committed

I liked hunting when I was a teenager

I remember I had hunted for 3 years during the war against Japan

I was naïve as a teenager

Teacher taught me to practice repentance dharma

And taught me 3 kinds of giving

I told Teacher that I lived in poverty

Even though I lived a very poor life, I could hardly make ends meet

I had no money to give

Master Janggya asked me, “Do you have a dime?”

I said, “A dime is available.”

“Do you have a dollar?”

“I can barely give a dollar.”

He said, “You may start giving them from 1 dime or 1 dollar.”

You should foster a heart of giving.

When occasions arise, act naturally accordingly to your ability

I really listened, I practiced all 3 kinds of giving

After 2 to 3 years practicing, not a long time, it took effect

I had more income naturally

I gave more when I gained more

The more I give, the more I get; the more I get, the more I give

The way I liked to give, due to the killing I had committed, was to release lives.

I would join them no matter who when release lives

Donated some money

Later I got rich, I gave medicine

I deposited my money in the hospital and told them,

If there were poor people who could not afford the medicine,

I will pay for them.

Starting from I reached here, each month, I give AU$10,000 to the city hospital,

for the poor’s medical fee, 120 thousand $ every year and last for 10 years without interruption

And there is a rest home here, operated by Christian very well

That’s what we Chinese call it Caring for the rest in peace

This is very important

The Christian has an open mind

When life comes to an end, no matter which religious ritual you like,

They will help you without hindrance

This is great

They came to me for help because of the lack of money

I also gave them AU$120,000 every year

This money belongs to fearlessness giving

Besides, the accidental disasters, the young people use drugs in Toowoomba, Australia

I am familiar with the former mayor, who ran an addiction treatment center, and lacked money,

Asking me for donation, I said how much

He said AU$300,000, we gave him the exact number

Joy

What is this? The giving of fearlessness

You help the people suffering from the disasters, all these belongs to fearlessness

For so many years, I accept the offering from my followers

I probably used 90% in dharma giving

I am inspired by Master Yin Guang

(Master Yin Guang (1862 – 1940)

I print sutras and virtuous books,

Lots of volumes, giving them to the entire world

Even for different religions, they run rest home, orphan home,

and many social charities, we help them too

So the Buddha taught us in the sutras, the teachers taught us,

Wealth giving, dharma giving and fearlessness giving

In the past 60 years, indeed, I never lacked money

I almost could achieve anything I thought of

Dharma giving improves my wisdom, which is very obvious

Everybody listen to my sutras lectures which are different each year

The levels are different

Fearlessness giving improves my health and lifespan

I rarely get sick in my entire life

I don’t have any health insurance for myself

I don’t have these

I have given all my medical fees

So I can’t get sick

I cannot afford my medical fee for sickness

This is good, you won’t get sick after you have given your medical fee

If you save money for your medical fees, you will definitely get sick

Why? That money is for your pension

You will definitely get old

 I don’t have pension so I won’t get old

If you don’t have medical fee, you won’t get sick

How comfortable and happy is it?

This was taught by my teacher

Master Janggya taught me, I believed him

He won’t lie to me with such an old age

So I realize it after I had learnt

As long as I am still alive, I will do it every day, I feel so comfortable

Israel Kamakawiwo'ole Lyrics

"Somewhere Over The Rainbow"

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
And the dreams that you dreamed of
Once in a lullaby

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
And the dreams that you dreamed of
Dreams really do come true

Someday I'll wish upon a star
Wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney top
That's where you'll find me

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
And the dream that you dare to,
Oh why, oh why can't I?

Well I see trees of green and red roses too,
I'll watch them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

Well I see skies of blue
And I see clouds of white
And the brightness of day
I like the dark
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people passing by
I see friends shaking hands
Singing, "How do you do?"
They really sing, "I...I love you"

I hear babies cry and I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than we'll know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world world

Someday I'll wish upon a star
Wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney top
That's where you'll find me

Oh, somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
And the dream that you dare to
Why, oh why can't I? I?

When I first listen to these Buddhist songs, my heart began to squeeze tears of joy and sorrow, both at once as if a divine hand was massaging the centre of my heart.

I love these Buddhist songs very much!
Buddhism has taught me so much about reviewing my mind.

I have many friends from all races, languages and religions, chinese, american, mexican, european, indian, indonesian, malaysian, arab, african have been through hard time recently and their head and heart is full of sorrow and bad feelings...I sent them these beautiful songs to listen, and their tension, anger, sadness seems to vanish little by little and started to concentrate themselves what is really important right here and right now.
