WHERE DO VIRUSES COME FROM?

 

Just like our bodies, there are many cells.

​

These cells are very unfortunate. They all carry viruses now.

These cells are in your body carrying viruses.

Should we help these cells recover and be healthy and normal?

Absolutely.

 

You should know that the whole universe is unified.

So the living beings in the six realms of reincarnation in the

universe are like the cells carrying viruses in our bodies.

 

Where did the viruses come from?

 

Viruses are transformed from self-nature.

If the virtues possessed by nature are perplexed, it will become virus.

If it is awakened, it will become normal.

 

Originally there was no virus.

 

Where did it come from?

It comes by itself due to getting perplexed.

 

If we are perplexed, and not awakened.

Our heart will carry viruses.

Our bodies will also carry viruses.

 

Awareness and knowledge originally exist inside our self-nature.

Unlimited wisdom, virtue, ability and good appearance.

These are all infinite. Infinite wisdom.

 

Infinite virtue and infinite capability.

Infinite good appearance. Infinite everything.

 

These all come from our self-nature originally and were originally there.

They are not learned from the outside.

 

All Buddhas have these. All beings have these.

 

The difference is Buddhas are awakened, and not perplexed.

Buddhas are healthy.

 

The beings of six realms are perplexed, and not awakened.

So the influence by the viruses are different, some are lighter, some are heavier.

 

The influence of viruses on celestial beings is smaller.

So they are happier, and less miserable.

 

Humans have generally been about half and half, but now when I look at humans

on Earth, we have not reached half.

 

We are more miserable, and less happy.

We are heavily perplexed now.

The beings in hell are totally perplexed. 100% perplexed.

 

In the hungry ghost realm, they are about 80% perplexed.

When I look at human in this world.

People are also about 80% perplexed.

 

Humans are very close to ghosts now.

We know the reason very well now.

 

Nowadays, this world - Earth,

Society is in turmoil with lots of disasters.

The Earth is circumstantial karma.

The inhabitants living on the Earth, especially people.

 

If we enlarge the range, the sentient beings and that includes animals have bad

thoughts and misdeeds. Those evils create viruses.

 

You need to remember that the Buddha told us in sutras.

What are the Three Poisons of vexation?

Greed, anger and ignorance.

These are the source of all viruses, the most serious viruses.

 

Who is free of those poisons?

Everyone is greed, angry and ignorant.

That’s why both your body and heart are not healthy.

 

Where does the greed, anger and ignorance come from?

Precepts, meditative concentration and wisdom are in the virtues possessed by our self-nature.

After we are perplexed, the precepts, concentration and wisdom will become greed, anger and ignorance.

They degenerate

 

Therefore, Buddha taught us to practice precepts, meditative concentration and wisdom diligently.

Extinguish greed, anger and ignorance.

This is told in sutras.

 

We may also say this

Diligently practice precepts, meditative concentration and wisdom, transform greed, anger and ignorance.

Greed, anger and ignorance are transformed to precepts, meditative concentration and wisdom.

Then the problem is solved.

 

If you are not annoyed in your heart.

You will not have any illness in your body.

 

Everything will become normal.

This is the reason.

 

Buddhas can cure the illness of living beings without any medication. Excellent.

 

What do they use?

The Mind.

 

When you change your mind, All the cells carrying viruses in your body also transform.

 

I usually add two words on to the three poisons, so five poisons.

Greed, anger, ignorance, arrogance and doubt.

 

Doubt is doubting the teaching of the sages or Buddhas.

Having doubt about the self-nature of self.

It is when one doesn’t believe his capability to be awakened.

These are also viruses, very serious viruses.

 

If we can completely change the mindset, then we may call it as “truly Studying Buddhism”.

 

It is not important to change the form of practice.

 

Changing the mindset is more important than anything.

This is what Master Zhang-jia had taught me before.

Buddhism focuses on the reality, but not the form of practice.

 

The reality is that you change starting from your mindset.

If you can change your mindset, everything will be complete and sufficient.
